Emmanuel Faculty Member Receives Promotion
Dr. Nevin Reda was promoted from assistant professor of Muslim Studies to associate professor. Dr. Reda came to Emmanuel College in 2012 and has since contributed in meaningful and innovative ways to the development of the Muslim Focus of the Master of Pastoral Studies program. She served as the director of the Master of Pastoral Studies and Master of Theological Studies programs from 2014 to 2017 and is currently directing the College’s self-study for reaccreditation with the Association of Theological Schools. Her new book, Islamic Interpretive Tradition and Gender Justice: Processes of Canonization, Subversion and Change, co-edited with Yasmin Amin, will be released this year from McGill-Queen’s University Press.
