A message from the Victoria College Principal’s Office

We are writing with the sad news that Sheila Cook, a fellow emerita of Victoria College, passed away last Friday. Together with former Vic Principal David Cook, Sheila was instrumental in developing the Education & Society program, the Vic One education stream, and the Beijing exchange program. She was beloved by the students she taught during her years at Vic, and she inspired many of them to go on to careers in education and teaching. Sheila’s presence enriched the lives of the colleagues and staff who worked with her, and she will be greatly missed.

An appreciation of Sheila’s life will be held on Sunday, October 27, from 2–4 p.m. in Alumni Hall, Victoria College.
