New Matching Gift to Support Emmanuel College Annual Fund

With so many students in financial need, Emmanuel graduate Jane Brushey-Martin Emm 0T2 and her husband Geoffrey Martin have stepped forward with a generous matching gift which will double every gift to Emmanuel’s Annual Fund up to a total of $50,000. All proceeds from this fiscal year's Annual Fund will be used to support students in financial need.

“This is a wonderful gift to Emmanuel and it will make such a difference in the lives of so many of our students," says Principal Michelle Voss Roberts. "I encourage all Emmanuel alumni and friends to step up this year and make a gift to our Annual Fund so that we can take full advantage of the Martin family’s generous matching gift. Let’s match their faith in our community to support our students to the best of our ability.”

As long-time supporters of Emmanuel College, Jane and Geoffrey generously endowed Emmanuel’s Jane & Geoffrey Martin Chair in Church and Community in 2001. The chair is held by Professor Pamela Couture, current director of the Toronto School of Theology.
